Carolyn Flagg

Carolyn Flagg is a lifelong resident of Brownsville, Haywood County, Tennessee. She is a graduate of Carver High School and attended Lane College. Ms. Flagg served in the Haywood County School System for sixteen years before being selected as the Executive Director of the Brownsville Housing Authority. She served for 27 years in this position and was instrumental in implementing programs and improvements in public housing in Brownsville. After retirement, Ms. Flagg volunteers with many activities including currently serving as the Alderman for Ward 2 and being elected to serve as Vice Mayor of Brownsville, Tennessee since 2010. She is a lifelong member of Farmers Chapel CME Church in Brownsville. Ms. Flagg has three sons and grandchildren.
