As FVPHR Director at Insouth Bank, I have had the privilege to serve as a Brownville-Haywood County Ambassador since its conception/revitalization, back in 1993. I have served as past president, secretary, and recipient of Ambassador the Year. Faith, family, community and ministry are my main interests. I serve as an ambassador because of love of community. This gives me the opportunity, as a representative of Insouth Bank and personally, to support and promote Brownsville-Haywood County as well as recognize and encourage current and new businesses and organizations. The Chamber works to bring the business community together, to develop strong local networks, which can result in a business-to-business exchange. It works with local government to develop pro-business initiatives. The Chamber should support, promote, recognize, and encourage the city and county businesses, organization and efforts, including selling our community, to venues that would generate a positive reflection of, and generate revenue for, the county and city, it serves.
