Gemtraius Bell known to many as Gem Bell was born and raised in Haywood County. Gem is married to Crystal Bell and has two wonderful children Xavier and Gemiah. Gem is very family oriented and they are the reason he strives to do his best. Gem is a product of the Haywood County School System. He played several sports while in High School and lettered in three of them. After graduating High School, he attended what is now known as the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. Gem currently works at TeknorApex Tennessee Company as a Shipping/Logistics/Analyst and has been with the company for the past 24 years.

Gem was a graduate of the Haywood County Leadership Class of 2009 and the West Star Class of 2013. Gem is the current chairman of the Haywood County Branch of the Boys and Girls Club, a member of the Haywood County school board, and serves on various other boards which include the Board of Directors of UT Martin West Star, Southwest WIOA, past Chairman of Relay for Life, Hatchie Fall Fest Committee, Vision Board, and Past President of the Brownsville Haywood County Chamber of Commerce. He has devoted his life to helping make Haywood County a great place to live.
